Our new employee, Lany McKinney, has started working this week and will be keeping the doors open at the Big Stone Arts Council's headquarters and gallery.
She will be there Wednesday & Thursday 11-3pm and Friday 3-7pm this week.
We invite the community to stop in and say hi to Lany and check out the art on exhibit by JoAn Melchild, Kris Ninneman, Don Sherman and Neva Foster. You can also check out our art resource library.
Now that we have an employee, we will be focusing on preparing that space for art sales in addition to art clases.
Anyone who wants to sell their art in this gallery, can stop in for a membership form and an application or call 320-487-1001. The selection committee will gladly get back to you

An art show entitled "Mother None Other" featuring local work by six adult and six youth artists opens this week at Java Jule's through June 1st.
